Fredrick James

Founder / CEO

My name is Fredrick James II, and I am the CEO and President of United Hands for Global Impact inc. I am a native of Palm Beach County, as well as a Florida Atlantic University graduate with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Growing up in Palm Beach County I saw firsthand how urban communities looked compared to the more affluent areas throughout the county and always wondered why was there such an obvious difference. I got my first taste of development when my parents purchased their first home. My parents were first time home buyers and were able to benefit from lower prices and loan rates for purchasing while the community was still developing. I paid attention to how homes were being built rapidly along with the parks, recreation centers, sidewalks and landscaping. This is when I realized that
I had a love for development. To see an entire community built right before
my eyes were something I feel very fortunate to have witnessed and have played a major role in my goals and objectives for my business in the development industry. Another major development project I witnessed was the building of Rosemary Square formally known as City Place. I saw a once-blighted and under-served community turn into one of the most prominent places in Palm Beach County. In my eyes, the biggest challenge for that project was the displacement of the existing residents as a result of the increased cost of living. After hearing various stories of how minorities are never included in the benefits of developing communities, I want to make a difference and prove how it is more beneficial to include minorities in the development process. This is the driving force behind founding United Hands for Global Impact (UHGI). After studying the development industry and the needs we were facing in the near future from our nation's crumbling infrastructure. I saw that creating a Nonprofit community investment vehicle would be the perfect way to get ahead of our nation’s needs and position minority communities affected by these needs to benefit from these investment opportunities. Resembling the time when America invested in American needs during the industrial era. This emerging redevelopment market should be given to hard-working Americans who deserve to see their hard-earned money used in a way that benefits them and fellow working-class citizens. The Non-profit sector is the key to directing and distributing resources where it can make a difference. Specializing in Public-Private Partnerships my goal is to keep Public facilities Publicly owned and include residential and commercial taxpayers in the incentives and tax credits for funding their development needs. Knowing that many people lack the financial literacy to advocate investing in prime real estate opportunities. I’m creating the voice that speaks to minority inclusion and forming the language that advocates giving everyone an opportunity to invest in the next hundred years of generational wealth creation. My goal is to unite as many HANDS as possible to create a positive IMPACT in our society.
